In 2008 we set out to do something unconventional in a traditional industry, bringing together digital marketing, product design and development, and local supply-chain resources. Since then we have served more than 20 countries and hundreds of brands worldwide.

One day a German client visited Taiwan and asked, puzzled:

“The whole world knows Taiwan is a bicycle manufacturing kingdom,
but why don’t we see these bicycles on the streets?”

Then, at our annual factory open house sale, a customer told us:

“The products are clearly excellent.
Why are they only exported overseas? There must be many people in Taiwan who would love to buy them too!”

Those words showed us there was more to do beyond OEM manufacturing:

“If we have the ability to create great products,
then we should have a name of our own.”

Located in Taichung, our first store looked more like a warehouse than a retail shop, displaying every bike model and component we offered. Customers could begin by selecting their preferred frame style, then customise every detail from a wall filled with parts and accessories. Through a systematic process of matching and assembly, the experience was much like visiting a bespoke tailor: every bike was “tailor-made” to the individual before it went into final production.

After confirming specifications, each bike goes through a complete production process including assembly, inspection, electronic system testing, drivetrain adjustment, component positioning, road testing, and full vehicle cleaning. This typically takes 4 to 6 weeks before delivery, depending on the order schedule.

Behind SEic Bike Factory is a team of craftsmen whose dedication, persistence, and attention to detail built the name from the ground up.
